iMEDicare
November 2019 - January 2021, Watford
Medical Suppliers Imedicare required a full stack developer to update an Umbraco project.
Their previous Umbraco 7 website needed upgrading. The new site had to be a fully responsive layout in Umbraco 8.
WeAreKitty
Aug 2019 - November 2019, London
Advertising Agency WeAreKitty required a set of classic ASP webforms to be updated to React/Webpack forms. The React forms were designed from supplied Invision designs. Handcoded HTML5 with Bootstrap and new CSS. These were converted to React/Webpack with Sass. The new forms were for ‘InsureAndGo’ the travel insurance company.

GGMR

Design company GGMR required an experienced Umbraco developer for a complex project. This project required a major upgrade to an existing high volume traffic site. Leading the team through the process, the project was completed in early April.

Nice, France based digital agency Web Corporate, required updates to an ecommerce site. Built using, Visual Studio 2017, Github and Slack. Most of the updates were to the CSS rules.
Earthwatch

Charity Earthwatch, required updates to an Umbraco Cloud site. Built using Umbraco Cloud, Visual Studio 2017, Github and Slack. All the code was MVC, with 'surface controllers', 'helpers' and 'partial views'. The project included creating custom reports using Goolge Analytics and reporting software 'Power Bi'.
Phoenix Sport
June 2018 - September 2018 Newbury Uk
Phoenix Sport, required a new Umbraco 7.10 e-commerce site. The E-commerce site was via the Newbury based digital agency 'Boomerang'. Built using Umbraco 7.10, Visual Studio 2017, Github and Slack. All the code was MVC, with 'surface controllers', 'helpers' and 'partial views'. The e-commerce system was based upon the 'Umbraco Merchello' package.
Corporate Intranet
Oct 2017 - June 2018 Farnborough Uk
Farnborough UK, based corporate, required a new Umbraco 7.9 internal intranet. The intranet was built using Umbraco 7.9, Visual Studio 2015, Github and Slack. All the code was MVC, with 'surface controllers', 'helpers' and 'partial views'. The site consisted mainly of 'Grid Layouts' with extra MVC partial views and surface controllers.

London UK, based digital agency, required a new Umbraco 7.7 build for a leading property company. The site was built using Umbraco 7.7, Visual Studio 2015, Github and Slack. All the code was MVC, with 'surface controllers', 'helpers' and 'partial views'. The site consisted mainly of 'Grid Layouts' with extra MVC partial views and surface controllers. NDA-signed. So, unable to disclose company name.
Havas Digital Factory

Paris, France based digital agency Havas required an Umbraco 7.6 build for a major French media company. The site was built in Umbraco 7.6 using Visual Studio2015, Github, Trello and Jira. The site consisted mainly of 'Grid Layouts' with extra MVC partial views and surface controllers.

Gateshead UK, based digital agency Mediaworks, required a new Umbraco 7.6 build for a leading utilities company. The site was built using Umbraco 7.6, Visual Studio 2015, Github and Slack. All the code was MVC, with 'surface controllers', 'helpers' and 'partial views'.
Digital Garden

Nantes based digital agency required updates to an older Umbraco 4.11 website. The French marketing website was updated using Visual Studio 2015 and Umbraco.
CAB Studios
April 2017 - May 2017
Developer for an Umbraco 7.5 CMS Cloud system. Alcester based digital agency 'CAB Studios' required an Umbraco 7 Cloud website as a ‘baseline’ for a group of sites targeting the leisure industry. The site was created in Umbraco 7.5 Cloud using Visual Studio 2015 locally, but Umbraco Cloud as the development site . All the code was MVC, with 'surface controllers', 'helpers' and 'partial views'. Umbraco forms was used to create a series of booking and registration forms. The Umbraco Cloud site includes 'custom grid layouts'. Online project messaging service 'Slack' was used extensively to track the work carried out. The site went to UAT on May 18th.
Clarity
Jan 2017 - March 2017 Milton Keynes
Milton Keynes based digital agency 'Clarity' required an Umbraco 7 website for their client, a large multi-national. The site was created in Umbraco 7.5 using Visual Studio 2015 and BitBucket. All the code is MVC, with 'surface controllers', 'helpers' and 'partial views'. This complex site includes 'custom grid layouts'. Online project messaging service 'Slack' was used extensively to track the work carried out. The site went live on March 27th.
Interdirect
June 2016 - Present Milton Keynes
Milton Keynes based digital agency 'Interdirect' required an Umbraco 7 website for their client 'Telford & Shropshire'. The site was created in Umbraco 7.4 using Visual Studio 2015 and VS Team Server. All the code is MVC, with 'surface controllers' and 'partial views'. This complex site includes an area where hotels and venues can create their own listings. This required the creation of a series of MVC forms and controllers, which dynamically create new 'content nodes' in Umbraco. Additional information can be added to these listings when an annual fee is paid, which required extra workflow and MVC forms.
The Escape
May 2016 - June 2016 Basingstoke
Basingstoke based digital agency 'The Escape' required their designs for a global website to be translated into an Umbraco 7 website. Using their PDF designs as visuals, online HTML editor 'Weblfow' was used to create CSS responsive template. The MVC Umbraco site was created in Visual Studio 2015 and VS Team Server. The site went live in June.
Moore Wilson
February 2016 - May 2016 Salisbury
Moore Wilson is a Central London & Salisbury Digital Agency specialising in Umbraco & Drupal development. Their work is to an exacting standard, all being MVC -'code first', using Umbraco 7. Consequently, all the projects were carried out using Visual Studio 2015. All the code was MVC, creating 'surface controllers' and 'API Controllers'. 'Github' was used extensively for source control. There was also a lot of updates requiring responsive CSS changes.The work was carried out in Visual Studio 2015 using full MVC and Umbraco 7. Daily code updates were made to GitHub.

Developer for an Umbraco7 CMS system for 'Finish Dishwashing'. The Cogworks is a Central London Digital Agency specialising in Umbraco development. Their work is to an exacting standard, all being MVC -'code first', using Umbraco 7. Consequently, all the projects were carried out using Visual Studio 2015. All the code was MVC, creating 'surface controllers' and 'API Controllers' connecting to remote web-services. The work was carried out in Visual Studio 2015 using full MVC and Umbraco 7. Daily code updates were made to the team server using BitBucket.

Umbraco developer for a series of projects. Bit 10 is a Digital Agency specialising in Umbraco development. Their work is to an exacting standard, all being MVC -'code first', using Umbraco 7. Consequently all the projects were carried out using Visual Studio 2015 connected to Visual Studio Online. All the code was MVC, creating 'surface controllers' and 'API Controllers' connecting to remote web-services.
Fireworx Creative - ACE
Umbraco developer for a contact website for senior CEO's and executives. With Social Networking, a 'responsive layout' and back-end data.
Working alongside a front-end developer the site has been created in Umbracao 7. I worked remotely on this project.
The work was carried out in Visual Studio 2014 using 'Partial Views' to create 'macros' for Umbraco.
The Purple Agency - British Dressage
British Dressage required a new 'all singing' website, with Social Networking, a 'responsive layout', E-Commerce and a webservice connection to the client's remote CRM. This site has everything including the kitchen sink.
Working alongside a front-end developer I have created the site in Umbraco 6.1. I worked independently on this project and largely remotely.
The work was carried out in Visual Studio 2012/14 using both .Net user controls and Razor to create 'macros' for Umbraco.
Direct Line Rewards
May 2012 – July 2012
Direct Line insurance had created a 'rewards scheme' website with a Responsive layout. There were various MVC 'backend' issues which needed resolving after the departure of the original development team. I worked independently on this project and largely remotely.
The work was carried out in Visual Studio 2013 using MVC, XSLT and Razor to create 'macros' for Umbraco.
Harrods
The work was carried out in Visual Studio 2010 using both XSLT and Razor to create 'macros' for Umbraco.
The project required a high level of social networking and user interaction. Hence there was a lot of Jquery code written into the Umbraco Razor code.
The project was completed in August 2012.
Iris Worldwide - Wonderbra
Developer for an Umbraco CMS system
Iris Worldwide were short of resources to complete the new Wonderbra 'Shock absorbers' website. I completed the coding of this new leading brand website using Umbraco 4.7
The work was carried out in Visual Studio 2010 using both XSLT and Razor to create 'macros' for Umbraco.
Working alongside a front-end developer, a web designer and project manager, I was responsible for the complex back-end Umbraco code.
The project was completed at Easter 2012.
Headscape
Developer for an Umbraco CMS system.
Headscape is a web development company, based near Romsey in Hampshire.
I developed an Umbraco based content management site for a particular client of Headscape. The site was based on Umbraco 4.7 and utilised both XSLT and Razor.
As Umbraco 5 had been released in the middle of this project, it was decided to migrate the project to Umbraco 5. This entailed a change from the XSLT/web forms infrastructure of Umbraco 4.7 to the MVC infrastructure of Umbraco 5.
I also helped bug fix other server-side issues on other projects for Headscape.
